Dear Friends:
Please click on the link below to read the United States Postal Service
guidelines on safe mail handling most particularly with regard to the
current incidences of Anthrax spores transmitted through the mail, and more
generally with respect to any dangerous substance which might be transmitted
through the mail.
Since each and every one of us touches incoming mail daily, it is important
that each of us be aware of what might constitute a "suspicious" package.
Should anyone find such a mail item or package... it is imperative that you
and your staff have a mechanism in place to assure the proper action.
