During the break, all OSCER machines will be in production, but OSCER staff will be off starting from this evening (Wed Nov 27) 5:00pm Central Time until Monday morning (Dec 2).
OSCER Users, One of the /scratch servers is under emergency maintenance. If you can't access your /scratch directory, the emergency maintenance on scratch1 is the cause. As most users use their /scratch for their datasets, some user's jobs are affected.. We're taking a look at the issue currently and should have a follow up later this afternoon with the expected duration of the downtime. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
OSCER Users, The scratch server is back online and available again. Thanks for your patience. We ask if you have any trouble please let us know by emailing [log in to unmask] with the problem you're having.

Scheduled maintenance outage Tue Nov 26 6am through midnight Central Time
This will affect the supercomputer, but not OURdisk, OURcloud, and OURRstore.
Planned maintenance tasks:
OU Facilities Management will be performing a reconfiguration of the power systems that feed electricity to the rows inside of the Four Partners Place Datacenter. This work is expected to take all of Tuesday next week. As such we are scheduling a downtime of our systems to accommodate the electricians to complete the work described.
Scheduled maintenance outage Tue Nov 26 6am through midnight Central Time
This will affect the supercomputer, but not OURdisk, OURcloud, and OURRstore.
Planned maintenance tasks:
OU Facilities Management will be performing a reconfiguration of the power systems that feed electricity to the rows inside of the Four Partners Place Datacenter. OSCER Users, Schooner maintenance has now completed. Some of the compute nodes are still being diagnosed. If you own a condominium compute node, and need an update of when your node will be back online, please send us an email and we'll give you a status update. In general, the estimate is going to be, by the end of the day tomorrow (Wed Nov 27th 2024).
Schooner now has some new batch queues, especially:
* 128gb_64core
* 256gb_64core
* longlargemem:
It's just like largemem, EXCEPT you can request up to 7 days of runtime, instead of 2 days.
