OWP is partnering with Moore Public Schools to host a  2 Day Literacy Lab for any teacher in the surrounding area.
Elementary teachers will strengthen reading/writing instructional strategies with students.

Location: Moore High School, College and Career Center, 300 N. Eastern Ave. Moore, OK 73160.
Participants will collaborate to connect pieces of Science of Reading with best practices from the Oklahoma Writing Project.

If you have students going into 7th through 12th grades, please share the information below.  OWP is hosting a Youth Writing Camp this Summer 2026 and we would love for your students to be a part of it!​________________________
Join us this summer (July 20-24) for a week of writing, community, and creative learning. 
We will gather daily on the University of Oklahoma campus where young writers will be immersed in creative writing opportunities facilitated by of OWP Teacher Consultants. Together, we will explore generative possibilities, a variety of writing genres, (e.g., poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction), and writing for publication.
