My name is Gracelynn D. Pruitt. I am 27 and a single mother of two children: Alex, 10 and Gwen, 7. I live in Oklahoma City and work for the Daily Oklahoman. This is my second semester at OU. I am a Junior with the intention of being in the Professional Writing program. On paper, I am pre-Journalism. If anyone has any awesome tips for a new transfer student, I would love to hear them. I am working on a novel and I have a few completed short stories, poems, etc.
Any meeting time is good for me. If I can go, cool; if not, I will wait for the next one. It would be awesome, if they switched nights every meeting or two. Though in between two night classes, two kids, work and a commute, I realize my limitations. Also, is there going to be a sign up for critiques groups online?
Thanks and I hope to see you in a meeting sometime this semester!
Grace
