Hello gang,
Sorry this one kinda slipped away on me. At any rate, the final Waltz, Salsa/Merengue and Nightclub Two-Step lesson will be tonight at 6:30pm in the Scholars room of the Union, 3rd floor (just between the Ballroom and Parking Garage on the North end). This is a carpeted room, so bring soft soled shoes or heavy socks. Henry Neeman will be returning this week for instructing the beginner portion.
Graham Kime will be returning to continue intermediate instruction. Anyone who has completed a beginners session with us is welcome to attend. Remember that membership dues cover both beginning and intermediate lessons; we don't make you pay twice.
I will be bringing the flyers for the next session to the meeting tonight. If you are so inclined, please volunteer to take and hang some in which ever building you frequent most. The more people who volunteer, the easier it is on everyone.
Next week, we will begin our third and final session for the semester. We will teach five weeks of Tango, Cha-Cha and Hustle before restarting the cycle for the summer months.
On Wednesday April 20th, we are hosting the second annual Moonlit Masquerade, a springtime costume ball. Tickets will be $6/person and $10/couple, on sale the week before, and $8/person at the door. I hope you plan on attending. Look for more details to come and more volunteer opportunities to help make this event possible.
