So with the dancing on Friday night, dancing in the parade on saturday and the Black Tie dance party saturday night, I only have one question: Is it the weekend yet?

Seriously though, everything went great. The dancers were the hit of the parade and we've already been invited back next year. The Black Tie kickoff was stellar and our participating soon to be instructors did an awesome job with their Tango routine. If you didn't make it out this weekend, you missed a flying good time.

This week pales in comparison. But we do have our regular lesson and dancing on Tuesday (wow, that's today already; apologies for lateness etc.) and open dancing on Friday night.

And the bullet format as per our custom:

Who: Sooner Ballroom Dance Club and You!
What: Fourth Lesson of Waltz, Salsa/Merengue and Nightclub TwoStep
When: Tuesday Oct 25th 6:30 pm
Where: OU Student Union, Scholars Room, 3rd floor
Why: Meet new people, learn new things, have fun! Why else?

Candi Boone, having concluded a two part lesson on the Waltz, will be moving on to other things that are sure to delight you. Open to anyone who wants to participate as well, the intermediate lesson will begin at 8pm and is set to the speed of people who have a few months of dance experience.

Dancing will be held in Sarkey's on Friday from 8 to 10 pm in the East Atrium. There is no cost and nothin to do but have fun.

That's all for this week. I'm sure there are plenty of halloween themed dances this weekend, but I've been too swamped to investigate.

Thanks again to all of you for making his possible,
Patrick Macklin
