La Iniciativa de Investigación (Pan Américas) del Centro Internacional de 
Investigaciones para el Desarrollo (IDRC),
el Instituto para la Conectividad de las Américas (ICA) y el Registro de 
Direcciones de Internet para América Latina
y el Caribe (LACNIC) anuncian el lanzamiento del Programa Frida 
(www.programafrida.net), programa que
será administrado y ejecutado por LACNIC.

El Programa FRIDA (Fondo Regional para la Innovación Digital en América 
Latina y el Caribe), es producto de un
acuerdo entre LACNIC, ICA y PanAméricas/IDRC y cuenta además con la 
relevante contribución
de la Internet Society (ISOC) y del Global Knowledge Partnership (GKP)

El presupuesto total del programa para los 2 próximos años es de U$S 480.000

Address Registry (LACNIC) announce the launching of the Frida Program 
(www.programafrida.net), program that
will be administered and executed by LACNIC.


The FRIDA Program (Regional Fund for Digital Innovation in Latin America 
and the Caribbean) is the result
of an agreement between LACNIC, ICA and PanAmericas/IDRC, to which is 
added the important contribution
of the Internet Society (ISOC) and the Global Knowledge Partnership (GKP).

The total budget of the program for the following two years is US$ 480,000.
