UNA CIUDADANÍA DIGNA E INDIGNADA
La Luna FM, la emisora ciudadana que está acompañando las
movilizaciones en Quito contra el gobierno dictatorial de Lucio
Gutiérrez, ha sido clausurada.
Este hecho constituye un grave atentado contra la libertad de
expresión y contra la voluntad del pueblo ecuatoriano que durante
seis días con sus noches se ha expresado en las calles.
El miércoles la ciudad se paralizó. Miles de personas pidieron la
destitución de la oficialista Corte de Justicia que permitió el
regreso al país de dos bandidos, los ex presidentes Adbalá Bucaram y
Gustavo Noboa.
Desde Radio La Luna, el director de informativos Paco Velasco llamó a
la población a salir con cacerolas para demostrar su descontento.

Al día siguiente, no fue el “cacerolazo”, sino el “reventón”. A las 9
de la noche, después de cantar el Himno Nacional, el pueblo reventó
globos como medida de protesta. Después, fue el “tablazo”. Con dos
maderas, la población hacía un ruido insoportable pidiendo la salida
de Gutiérrez.
El presidente, asediado por la ciudadanía, confrontado por la
emisora, decretó el toque de queda. Pero nadie obedeció la orden, ni
siquiera los militares, y la gente siguió en las calles pidiendo la
salida de todos los políticos corruptos. Gritaron frente a la
mismísima casa del presidente.

Como el presidente llamó “forajidos” a quienes protestaban, la
emisora abanderó la consigna: “¡Todos y todas somos forajidos!” En
los autos se leían carteles: “No vea la televisión, oiga la La Luna
en 99.3.”
El viernes en la noche, llegaron piquetes de policías con orden de
allanar y cerrar la radio. En menos de 10 minutos cinco mil personas
hacían un cerco protegiendo la emisora.
El sábado fue convocado el "rollazo". La población marchó envuelta en
papel higiénico para limpiar el gobierno del “Sucio Gutiérrez”.
Ayer domingo fue el “golpe de estadio”. Durante el partido de fútbol,
la gente pedía a gritos que se fueran todos. Y del estadio, marcharon
hacia el Congreso.

El Congreso se reunió de urgencia. Lo que no hicieron en 4 meses, lo
resolvieron en 4 horas por la presión del pueblo: cesaron a la Corte
de Justicia nombrada a dedo por el presidente para que Bucaram y
Noboa pudieran regresar impunemente al país.
Ahora, la insurrección se extiende a otras ciudades: Cuenca,
Guayaquil, Ibarra, Otavalo, Riobamba… El pueblo ecuatoriano tiene
experiencia en botar presidentes corruptos. ¿Hará lo mismo ahora con
el deslucido Lucio Gutiérrez?
El gobierno le ha cortado la señal a Radio La Luna. Pero en estos
instantes que escribimos, miles de ciudadanas y ciudadanos se han
instalado alrededor de la emisora. Llevan alimentos, cocinan afuera,
protestan. Paco Velasco recibe amenazas de muerte en contra suya y de
su hijo.
