Science Fiction/Fantasy Conference to Gather Artists, Authors, Editors
and Fans in Oklahoma City Area

The first Panda*Monium will bring over 30 Science Fiction/Fantasy and
Horror professional writers, artists and editors to meet with fans at
the Norman Holiday Inn (I-35 and Robinson) on November 19-21, 2004.
Special Guests include noted SF/F artists Darrell K. Sweet (cover artist
for Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series, Piers Anthony’s Xanth series,
and many other books) and David Lee Anderson (of Oklahoma City), authors
Mel Odom (OKC author of Hunters of the Dark Sea, The Rover series, and
over 90 other novels) and Selina Rosen (author of the Queen of Denial
and Chains of Freedom series, as well as publisher of Yard Dog Press).

Events of this three day conference include an art show and auction,
exhibitors room (with books, jewelry, toys, comics, games, art prints,
memorabilia and other items on sale), role-playing game tournaments,
author readings, autograph sessions, writer’s workshop, video room
(featuring a party celebrating the 50th birthdays for both Godzilla™ and
the Creature from the Black Lagoon™), art demonstrations, and panel
discussions on topics including writing, editing, publishing, comics,
art, TV, science and film. Of special interest to educators will be a
two-hour panel session on "Using SF in the Classroom" (Saturday morning,
November 20th).

Other guests include: Brad Foster (Hugo Award winning artist), Brian A.
Hopkins (Bram Stoker Award winning author), Katherine Eliska Kimbriel
(Campbell Award nominated author), Stephen Pagel (editor/publisher of
Meisha-Merlin Press), Lee Killough, Rachel Caine, Rachel Hartman, K.D.
Wentworth, Cary Osborne, Lee Martindale, Brad Sinor, Laura Underwood,
Beverly A. Hale, Glenn Sixbury, Jeffrey Turner, Peter Bradley, Tim
Chessmore, W.J. "Bill" Hodgson, Bill Allen, James K. Burk, Brenda C.
Corbin, Rhonda Eudaly, Melanie Miller Fletcher, Lazette Gifford, Julia
Blackshear Kosatka, Susan Satterfield, Steven Wedel, and Craig Wolf.

Panda*monium begins Friday afternoon, November 19th and ends Sunday,
November 21st at 5:00 pm. Three-day memberships can be purchased for
$35.00 at the door. Single day passes are available for $15.00 (Friday
or Sunday) and $20.00 (Saturday). Holiday Inn is offering special
reduced room rates of $69.00 for Panda*monium attendees for the
