Saludos mi amigos!

This week in dance will be an exciting one for sure. Tuesday night we have beginning, intermediate and advanced lessons. We'll be selling tickets all week for our rescheduled Winter Ball, this Saturday February 3rd.

Who: The Sooner Ballroom Dance Club and You!
What: Beginning Swing, FoxTrot and Rumba, Intermediate and Advanced dance lessons
When: Beginning at 6:30pm, Intermediate at 8pm and Advanced at 9pm, Tuesday, January 30th
Where: Will Rogers Area, OU Student Union food court, 1st floor
Why: To HAVE FUN! (why else?)

Candi Boone delighted us once again with her company and intermediate steps for the Lindy Hop. Kate Linkous, the mastermind behind the Sin City and other outings, filled in for John Swick last week. Some very exciting patterns were taught in the International Tango.

Brief directions to the Will Rogers area: From the main entrance on Asp, come through the doors, down the 4 steps, turn right and walk past the bookstoore and Wendy's, can't miss it. From the Parking Garage, talk the ground floor entrance or the elevator to the ground floor, go down the ramp and it's on your right. Can't miss it.

The floor here is partially carpet, so the normal shoe caveats apply. Sneakers and rubber soles are ill-advised as they give way too much traction. Pick something softer and smoother.

Please pay your dues this week if you haven't already. The fee for the full 5-week session is $15 for students and $20 for non-students.

Also, stay tuned for the details of our Winter Ball, this coming weeking.

Hasta maņana,
Patrick
