SBDCers,
SUMMARY:
Ballroom dance at Norman YMCA Sat Aug 4 6:00-7:30pm, FREE if
you participate in a short cha cha demo.
DETAILS:
The Norman YMCA is holding a dance on Saturday August 4,
6:00-7:30pm. (Not this coming Saturday, but the following one.)
Rebecca and I will do a short lesson at 6:00pm, followed by
general dancing.
We'll also be doing a cha cha demo around 7:15ish.
Nominally, admission is $10 per person.
But, if you participate in the cha cha demo we're doing halfway
through, they'll waive your admission.
Note that "participate" means "dance for 3 minutes in front of
the crowd."
As I mentioned in class yesterday, $10 for 3 minutes of labor
is equal to $200 an hour, or $400,000 a year.
Where else are you gonna go to have so much fun and get paid
like a millionaire?
DIRECTIONS:
The official address of the Norman YMCA
http://www.ymcanorman.org/
is 1350 Lexington Ave.
Take Robinson to Berry, and turn northbound onto Berry (into
OU's North Base). Follow Berry to the T intersection and turn
left (westbound) onto Westheimer. Take the first right at
Halley (northbound), and then the entrance to the Y parking lot
is on your right (east).
