Hi everyone-

I'm very happy to see all the energy around planning the next
conference! I just wanted to make a quick suggestion about the list --
it is quickly going to become overwhelming, and already people are
asking to be taken off the list. Perhaps soon you might want to set up
a separate planning list that people would have the option to subscribe
to.  This planning list could also be set up with an archive so that
anyone interested could then go and review what's happening with the
planning committee, make comments, but not be overwhelmed with e-mail
coming into their inbox.. The "main" list could still be used to post
information relevant to the network (as Clemencia had been doing).
Later perhaps you could also set up additional lists for working
groups. I know their are lots of folks in the network that could help
with setting up alternative lists, should you decide to go in that
direction..

Soy muy feliz con toda la energia cerca la planificación de OMV! Queria
hacer una sugerencia rapido acerca la lista. Creo que rápidamente el
numero de mensajes va a inundarnos, y veo que ya gente esta pidiendo
que los tachamos de la lista. A lo mejor si podria crear una lista
nueva, separada, a pedir que la gente interessada suscribirse a esta
lista. La lista puede tambien tener un archivio donde la gente puede ir
a solo leer las mensajes, hacer comentarios,  pero no recibirlas todas
en el correo. La lista principal podria existir todavia por informacion
que interessa la rete (como estaba haciendo Clemencia). Mas tarde si
podría crear listas differentes por varias grupos de trabajo. Se que
hay mucha gente de OM que sabe crear listas, se deciden tomar esto
sentido...
