The Department of Film & Media Studies is seeking someone with a Ph.D. in
Media Studies or a related area who brings a critical and analytical
perspective to American media law, policy and regulation in relation to
First Amendment issues.  In addition, the candidate should be conversant
with the dynamics of competing interests and globalization and the influence
they exert on media access, content and distribution.
