Okay, so having sent the exact same email last week, you might expect me to be on top of it this week. But it is not so.
Because it's dead week and it happens to be Cinco de Mayo, we are not hosting any dancing in Sarkey's tonight. The email I sent Monday night said we were, but we are not.
Instead, you should check out the Latin dance night at Kongo's. We were promised they'd DJ real latin music (instead of fake Latin music) and they sem to have done a good job reforming so far. Anyways, there should be plenty of music for real Ballroom Style dancing in at least one of the rooms for their Cinco de Mayo party. Read below.
That's all. Catch you when finals decide to be over and I have a life.

Subject Friday Night Salsa--Cinco de Mayo
Hello all--
Friday is May 5th--Cinco de Mayo--and of course Kongo's is planning a monster bash! It will be another great latin dance night...for $5!
I will be teaching the Salsa class that evening; the class is from 8 pm to 9 pm and is free with your club cover. You can stay and dance until 2 am. It should be a great evening, as they are planning for another good dance band--and watch out for the Telemundo folks that are filming on Fridays!
Hope to see you there!
Kate
