Kudos to students at the Harvard School of Public Health who developed a new MCH data resource: MCH Data Connect.
MCH Data Connect provides a comprehensive online database catalog of Maternal and Child Health (MCH) datasets, interactive tools, and other data resources for public health professionals, researchers, practitioners, policy makers and students. This resource is an ongoing catalog of data sources for MCH populations. The site currently lists 120 sites. The catalog describes the sites and their functionality, e.g. data, ability to tailor tables, graphs, etc. with a direct link to the data source. The catalog is searchable using three different strategies. Program staff have piloted this site this fall to favorable reviews.
You can access the site at http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/mch-concentration/mch-data-connect/ or through Google.
