The Oklahoma chapter of the Society of Children's Book Writers and
Illustrators is holding A Day with the Editor, featuring Henry Holt & Co.
editor Reka Simonsen, on Saturday, April 5, 2003. This conference will
enable up to 30 participants to get a New York editor's evaluation of their
manuscripts for children. (Manuscripts may be no more than two pages;
longer works--such as novels--may be the first two pages and a two-page
synopsis.)

Registration must be accompanied by a manuscript and registration fee: $100
for current SCBWI members and $125 for nonmembers.
