Teacher Consultants:

Thanks to all of you for responding to our need for
presenters for the six conferences for Special Ed
teachers for 2008-09.  We now have plenty of
presenters for language arts and social students.  We
still need more presenters for math and science. 
Please let me know right away if you're interested in
presenting; send a workshop title and program
description.  Presenters will receive $375 for each
3-hour workshop.

There will be several opportunities for other
presentations in the near future.  We'll need
presentations for both students and teachers at the
secondary "Write To Win" conference November 6 and the
Elementary "Write To Win" conference October 28. 
These presentations will be 75 minutes.  Presenters
will receive $125 plus free registration for the
conference.  First dibs will be given to those TCs
bringing students to the conferences, but don't
hesitate to send a proposal, even if you're not
bringing students.

I am now also working on presentation possibilities
with GEAR UP, and will be back in touch with more
information after a meeting next week.
