Obviously Unrehearsed Improv! and the Student Film Production Club in
conjunction with the Campus Activities Council are proud to announce a
workshop with Matt Donnelly of New York's Neutrino Video Project.
Matt Donnelly has spent his 10 years in improv and acting trying to
explore comedy entertainment at the highest level possible and holds
the Neutrino Video Projects as one of his greatest accomplishments.
Matt has also produced a TV pilot, and has been cast in two others. He
also co-wrote, produced and starred in Reality & Stuff, a feature
length film.
Neutrino was formed in 1999 in New York City. Celebrated for their
Harold and their long run as New York's Cagematch champions, this
eight-member team of some of New York's finest performers has toured
the country to perform their exhilarating stage show as well as their
one-of-a-kind improvised movie, The Neutrino Video Projects.
With three cameras, some improvisers, and a large technical crew,
Neutrino takes to the streets to shoot, edit, score, and mix a
completely improvised movie in the time it takes for you to watch it.
Spontaneous, beautiful, and hilarious, this "theatrical movie
experience" is the first of its kind.
The show has been heralded in New York, Chicago, Seattle, Detroit, San
Francisco, Toronto, and Washington, D.C. where it is performed under
the Neutrino name by different groups. Now, Neutrino is headed to
Norman, OK.
Matt will teach a one-day, four-hour workshop designed to teach the
basics of the Neutrino Video Project. This workshop is open to all
members of the OU community.
The workshop is perfect for aspiring filmmakers, improvisers, and
actors. The goal is to assemble a team to perform Neutrino Norman in
the months to come. Everyone is welcome to attend the workshops, but
time considerations may limit participation in exercises.
Get there early. The workshop should fill up.
