I know you're busy, but I just had to invite you personally to the
Taylor Mali performance at 6:30 pm in the Dorothy Summers Theatre at ECU
on Thursday, Nov. 5. Not only is he a dynamic poet and performer
(Oxford trained), most of his poems are about teaching. It's almost
like a revival for the tired teacher spirit, and such a breath of fresh
air in the public voice that blasts our profession.

The event is free, so please spread the word. I know there are a lot of
wonderful teachers and word lovers in your world who need to join Mali's
audience to sit back, relax, be entertained, AND be praised for all the
hard work we do! This is a rare opportunity for us here in southeastern
Oklahoma.

If you want to know more about him or the event, you can get more
details at www.taylormali.com and on the attached flyer. If you have
any questions, please let me know.

Teresa
