Hello,

Just to remind all grops about Shack-a-thon, if you are participating, do not forget that you must provide the materials for your shack.  It would be a good idea as well to contact businesses before you dig through their trash.  Also, for everyone not directly involved with Shack-a-thon, save some change or even a few dollars to vote on your favorite shacks on the 25-26th of this week.  Please tell all your friends to do the same.  Since Shack-a-thon is a new event to OU, your word of mouth may make the difference between a decent fundraiser and an absolutely fantastic one.

In addition, it is still not too late to sign up for Shack-a-thon.  We will be having a meeting tonight, September 22, 7 pm, Regents room in the Union.  The Regents room is located on the third floor.  If you can't make it, please e-mail us so that we can contact you.

This is a really exciting week for Habitat and I hope that many if not all of you would like to get involved.  Also, if anyone has a large lecture class and would like to speak to them about Shack-a-thon, that would be greatly appreciated.  Just say to your teacher you are a member of Habitat for Humanity and ask to speak to the class.  All you have to say is that we will be holding Shack-a-thon on the 25-26th of September out in the South Oval.  Students can donate to their favorite Shacks to either vote or negate a vote, like in penny wars.  So save some change for Shack-a-thon, whether it be a few dollars or a few cents.

Again, any kind of help mentioned above would be greatly appreciated.
