Here's a second question for the group.....

North Dakota has begun their needs assessment as to genetic services. We
have surveyed health care professionals through a survey which was
disseminated through our personal mailing list, as well through Children
Special Health Services (CSHS). The response we received was well
received, as we had about 300 returned surveys. We have surveyed, and
still do so, patients seen as to their opinions of our services. Our
next step is developing a survey for the Native American Reservations in
our state. I am curious what other states have done with assessments and
am curious if we could receive a copy of your surveys for the needs
assessment.

Now a third question....
Through the direction of the health care survey responses, we hope to
provide additional training as requested via newsletters, brochures, and
conferences. Is there newsletters or brochures that we could give our
health care professionals, and families that is standardized in the
Heartland Region? If so, how can we access them?

Thank you everyone! Jayne
