1.  The OK Office of Personnel Management posted a recruitment notice for an Emergency Management Officer II (Area Coordinator) position today for our Agency.  The application process is an automated system using the Internet.  To see the recruitment notice:

            a.  Go to the OPM Home Page:  http://www.ok.gov/opm/

            b.  On the shaded, left side of the Home Page click on State Jobs

            c.  At the State Jobs page, in the shaded area, click on Current Jobs

            d.  At the Current Employment Opportunities page the recruitment notices are listed in alphabetical order under the Regular Employment Opportunities block at the bottom of the screen.  Scroll down to find the Emergency Management Officer II recruitment notice.  Click on that notice.  Follow the instructions about applying using the Internet that are at the bottom of the page.

2.  Please note that there is a test required for this position and that the filing deadline is Thursday, July 31, 2008.
