Good unofficial meeting!

Jorge, KI5ANA/HJ3LDG is in another student org and is talking to them about what the club needs to do regarding getting back in OU's good graces.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we're going to meet again at the same location, same time, but in 2 weeks? If I heard right, that makes it 7/12 at 1330 local. (Note that I have federal jury duty that week and if the trial really starts and I am picked, and it hasn't ended, I won't be there. :-) Don't let that stop you!)

Things talked about (other than re-starting the club's officialness):

o Potential Tech/General class for anyone with interest, but especially the Microwave Theory and Techniques Society folks (https://www.arrc.ou.edu/ieee/ - no, I didn't know such a thing existed, either). Potentially, this could (or maybe should!) be combined with SCARS' regular spring class (https://w5nor.org/class/)

o Howdy Week station - Setting up operating station on whichever Oval this is held on. We're not even sure it's still known as "Howdy Week", but it's when all the student orgs do some publicity for incoming students. OUARC has participated in this in the past. We do have sufficient gear to do this.

o National Weather Festival station - another opportunity for PR and something to work with SCARS on as they have had a presence there in the past.
