All Enjoyers of Improv,

Red Dirt Improv's Tyler Bryce will be teaching a six-week improv workshop Thursday nights beginning Thursday, January 28 and running through March 4.

Tyler will teach the fundamentals of improv scene work through a series of games and exercises.

Acting looks to create a product for display. Improv displays a process for the audience. Students will learn how to make and support strong choices that will propel scenes forward.

Tyler Bryce has been teaching improv for the last nineteen years all over the continent. While directing ComedySportz in Austin, Tyler developed a three-level improv workshop system in conjunction with the Zachary Scott Theatre Center that trained hundreds students in the art of improv.

In 2001, Tyler moved to NYC. He studied improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater (UCB) and the People's Improv Theater (PIT). He performed with New York's Improv Asylum, National Comedy Theater and ComedySportz.

Since moving to Oklahoma to attend college in 2006, Tyler has remained busy. He, at one time, directed both Red Dirt Improv and O.U. Improv! He also helped coordinate the enormously successful Improv Festival Oklahoma. Currently, he recently taught improv to kids through the Boys and Girls Club of OKC.

Happy corporate clients include Dell, 3M, Hewlett Packard, The Texas State Comptroller, Pfizer, and The Oklahoma Blood Institute. Tyler has studied improv with various important people, most of whom would impress you if he mentioned them here.

The classes are $30 per session or $150 if you pay for all six classes in advance. Discounts are available for members of the IAO Gallery.

If you have any questions, or would like to make reservations for the class, please feel free to email [log in to unmask]
