My own chapter (Chapter 9: Computer-mediated communication worldwide pp
117-126) in Lewis, Peter M. (ed) (1993) Alternative Media: Linking
Global and Local, UNESCO Reports and Papers in Mass Communication
No.107, Paris. 130pp.ISBN 92-3-102852-9. is by now a historical
curiosity since it was written just before the internet came together,
but it did report coverage of 'The Other Economic Summit'

Subject: Looking for key literature on alternative media reporting on
summits

(english only)
Hi friends and colleagues-

Looking for key research on how alternative media report international
summits/conferences like G8 or WTO. What are the 2-3 most important
texts?
Your advice appreciated.
