"America, America!"
"America, America!",is a music video that cocks a snook at the greatAmerican empire and exposes the American war machine for what it is -global terrorism. Directed by KP Sasi and based on Kamaan SinghDhami's anti-war song "American War Paar Da! (Check Out the AmericanWar!)", the 4-minute music video is a satirical but severe indictmentof America's role in escalating world conflict. Originally writtenfollowing the post-9/11 bombing of Afghanistan by the USA, anddeveloped to address the occupation of Iraq, the song comments onvarious aspects of the American empire - its stockpile of nuclearbombs, its cozy relation with fanatical and dictatorial regimes, andin fact, the very notion of American peace and liberty.
