Dr. Alvin Turner, Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences at East Central University, has asked that I remind you of the R. Darryl Fisher Creative Writing Contest deadline January 31, 2005.  Few submissions have been received so far.

I am attaching the flyer about the contest.  If you have questions, contact Dr. Turner at [log in to unmask] .  It's a rare opportunity to have a contest that allows for something other than the usual essay.
