Hi, writers!

Our first official meeting of the semester took place last Thursday
night with good attendance. The pizza was delicious. Even chocolate
was provided. With the necessary food groups on hand, people spent time
talking about their interests in the writing field, discussed fun stuff
like reviving the official PW website, and agreed to meet this week in
order to get better acquainted with each other.

So, Thursday, September 25, we'll be gathering at Borders (7:30 p.m.)
for an informal chatfest. Those of you who couldn't make the official
meeting last week, please drop by and join us. If nothing else, we can
inhale that wondrous aroma of formaldehyde-based ink that books are
printed from. It's certain to expand your brain cells and help keep you
enthusiastic about writing.

Other news: we have our own bulletin board on the second floor of
Copeland, two sections to the left of the water fountain. Information
and materials pertinant to the writing life/business will be going up
soon. Give some thought as to what features you'd like to see there.
Feel free to make suggestions.

See you on Thursday,

Deborah
