Tuesday night saw the conclusion of the semester for the Sooner Ballroom Dance Club. Officer elections were held and the results are in. Our officers for next year are as follows:

           Katherine Watson
Publicity Co-Chairs - Trent Parks

This is the first of a series of notices that will be sent out to remind you of lessons and events that will be occurring over the summer in the Norman/Oklahoma City Area. Try to make it out if you're in the area or we'll just see you again in the fall.

Party at Mango's for Cinco de Mayo this Thursday at 9 pm. There is usually some over charge and the party doesn't really get going until after 10 or 11pm (from what I hear). More info, contact Louise at [log in to unmask]

Harpe's dance studio - http://www.harpesdance.com/ - is going to be having dance parties on the second and fourth Mondays of each month I think starting next week at 7pm.  This, I think, might be just a summer thing.  I will let you know more when I find out more.

Beginner lessons will be held during the summer session. Look for them to begin on June 14th. All 9 dances will be taught over a course of 3 sessions of 4 weeks each. The cost will be $15 for students and $20 for non-students per session.

We will resume weekly beginner, with infinitely entertaining Henry Neeman, and intermediate lessons, with the inexhaustibly comedic Candy Boone, in the fall. Dates, times and locations will be announced at the end of the summer, but count on them remaining on Tuesday nights at 6:30 and 8pm respectively. We also hope to continue hosting free dance parties every friday night on campus.
