Hi everybody,

Eric Webb's Music video project has been delayed until after winter break. The idea is to give everyone a chance to get back and get settled in before blitzing the film project. Those of you who were concerned about not having time to shoot before break, don't worry. Now you can put off an entirely new semester ;-). Meetings and rehearsals will begin the first week of classes in the morning time. Expect no more than 2 meetings for regular cast members the week of the 17th (Tuesday, no class on monday) through 20th. The film shoot is planned for that weekend, the 21st and 22nd of January.

That said, tonight is the last night for auditions. Tonight from 6-8pm drop by the traditions room of the Union (second floor, between the main stairs and meacham) to audition for any and all parts. If you are just interested in being an extra dancer, please take the time to show up anyways so the film crew can know where the interest level is.

This project is going to be a blast and I look forward to seeing you on the set.
Patrick Macklin

OU Film/Video Makers Cooperative Presents:
"John Finn's Wife"

Music & Lyrics By: Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Adapted for the Screen and Directed By: Eric Webb

This project is inspired by the song of the same name, by Nick Cave.
The song tells the sordid and deceptively simple tale of small town
intrigue in 1950's America, lines that shouldn't be crossed, and what
happens when two people put everything at risk for a night of
pleasures indulged upon the dance floor.

Warning: The song and consequently the film deal with mature themes
including adultery, sexuality, and murder.
