Aloha. I hope everyone had a lovely spring break with plenty to do. Also Happy Saint Patrick's Day to all you Irish Immigrants and Inebrients.

We're swinging right back into things this week. The dancing breaks down as follows:

Who: The Sooner Ballroom Dance Club and You!
What: Lesson 3 in Waltz, Salsa/Merengue and Nightclub Two-Step
When: Tuesday March 21st at 6:30pm
Where: Scholars Room of the Union, 3rd floor north end between the ballroom and parking garage.
Why: To have fun!

How: Come as you are, dress casual. Stay away from heavy tread shoes or just wear thick socks. Pay your dues: Every five week session costs $15 for students, $20 for non.

This friday we have two events to advertise. The Kongo's Gig will be continuing from 7-9:30pm. Cost is $5 cover and includes a mini-lesson. Dancing lasts for two hours at least and the cover charge is enough to last you all night so stay and groove if you like. Kongo's is on 12th street up near Robinson.

Also, a global dance party with lessons has been organized out of the blue or green by the Union Programming Board. It will be on Friday at 8 with lessons in the Regants, Governers, Scholars and Associates rooms and Dancing at 9 in the Ballroom. More details on that are forthcoming.

Also, be sure to remember the Spring Dance, our very own 3rd annual Moonlit Masquerade. On April 13th at 7pm, we will host a one hour beginning lesson and a 3 hour dance with live music in the Ballroom of the Union. There will be free refreshments and a hardy party atmosphere until 11pm.
We also need volunteers for this event. If you would like to help prepare or set up decorations, sell tickets, take tickets, or just be a random task person, please let me know.

That's all for now,
Patrick
