Okay gang, a lot going on this week. I hope you're ready (that'd make one of us).

First of all, the tickets are ready and on sale. Prices are $6/person $10/couple before hand and $7/person at the door. The $16/couple at the door price sent in the mass email was a mistake. Furthermore, anyone who has paid dues for at least two sessions this semester gets a free ticket.

General ticket sales are all this week on the first floor of the Union, next to the bookstore and the wire broadcasting booth. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 until 2 we will be selling tickets. If you are available during any of these times, please drop by the booth and help out. We will have question sheets explaining all about the ball and procedures for sales, so it won't be hard.

This tuesday evening at 6:30pm we are having our third lesson in Hustle, Tango, and Cha-Cha in the East Atrium of the Sarkeys Energy Center. This is just down the hall from the West Atrium on the first floor where we have met previously. You should be able to follow the music. It does have a smooth floor, which means easier dancing compared to carpet, but soft soled shoes are still recomended.

Afterwards on Tuesday, we will be carpooling out to Ryan's house again to work more on decorations. Mainly, we need to collect tree brances for our artificial forest. Also, we need to pour more concrete into buckets to construct holders for our trees. There are several other tasks that we can complete to make our lives easier during the set up. Everyone's help will be appreciated and we will buy snacks or pizza for everyone who comes. Just talk to me after club on tuesday if you would like to participate and we can arrange rides both ways.

Finally, this thursday is our Second Annual Winter Ball. We have the ballroom all day for this event; set up begins at 10am. Any amount of time you can contribute to setting up will be appreciated. Hopefully, we can complete decorations by 4pm and give everyone enough time to clean up and eat before the event begins. We will have a professional dance instructor teach a beginners waltz and rhumba lesson from 7 to 8pm. Dancing to the sounds of the Talk of the Town Orchestra, a 17 piece big band, will follow until 11pm. This will be a grand old soire so please bring all your friends and neighbors. We have free drinks, live music and will even teach you how to dance. See above for ticket prices.

President
