Sorry, sorry, sorry I'm so late in sending this. We have our first lesson in Tango, Cha-Cha and Hustle tonight at 6:30pm in the Scholars room of the Union. That's on the 3rd floor, the north end between the ballroom and the parking garage. The only attire suggestion is not to wear shoes with heavy rubber tread as they can be very difficult to dance in on carpet. Also, flip-flops are generally a bad idea, along with any other shoe that won't stay on your foot while it is flailing around.

Our intermediate lesson will cover polka. You read that right: Polka. Next saturday we will be carpooling out to the Czech Hall in Oklahoma City for an evening of dancing, where the motto is 'all polka, all the time.' (That's probably not true, but it's got a catchy ring to it)

Mark your calendars for the Winter Ball! This exciting formal dance falls on Dec-2 this year and we need all of your help and attendence to make it really great. We will have a beginner lesson from 7-8 and dancing to a live band from 8-10. This is a great chance to get your friends involved as well. No partner or experience necessary, we'll be giving a lesson, and there's free food and drink served at the dance.

On that note, if you would like to get involved in planning this event, just come to our officers meetings on thursday nights at 8pm on the second floor of the Conoco Student Leadership wing of the Union in cubicle 2C. This is educational as well as helpful to your club.

Thanks and I hope everyone can still make it tonight.
Patrick Macklin
