Well mi amigos,

There's about an inch of ice on the ground still and temperatures falling below freezing again tonight. We can't, in good conscious, go forward with our ball.

We will attempt to reschedule. This is highly dependent on room availability. We may be able to find a date before winter break, but more likely it will be in January or February of next year. More details on that will be forthcoming next week.

If you have already bought a ticket for tonights dance, we can arrange a refund. Come to our last lesson on Tuesday night of next week at 6:30 pm in the Will Rogers Area next to the food court in the Union. Present your ticket and receive a refund. If that won't work out for you, send an email to [log in to unmask] and someone can arrange to meet you on campus. Please don't present a ticket that you received for free (by paying dues) and ask for a refund; we can catch you.

If you prefer, you can hold onto your ticket and we will honor it at any future ball. This is true for free tickets and purchased tickets as well.

If you planned on decorating today, thanks but stay home, stay warm and stay safe.
