Hi gang,

Back in Sarkey's this week for lesson 4 of Swing, Rumba and Fox-Trot. We're in the East Atrium, on the first floor situated underneath the Geosciences Library. To find us, one should be able to follow the music from anywhere on the first floor.

Upcoming events:
This Sunday, Febuary 20 at Harpe's Dance studio in Oklahoma City is a benefit party for a girl awaiting a heart transplant. There is no charge for the festivities, which include 3 hours of lessons and 3 hours of open dancing, but attendees are requested to donate for the charity. The event will last from 2pm - 8pm. Unfortunately, I don't have a precise schedule for what's happening when, but people are encouraged to drop by any time. Perhaps more details will follow, if I ever get my hands on some, and directions will definitely follow as the event draws closer.

The following Friday, Febuary 25 is a Big-Band dance at Dance Makers in Oklahoma City. There will be a lesson at 7:30 and dancing from 9-11pm. Reservations, apparently, are required, although I need to sort out exactly what that entails. You can call 722-5100 for yourself if you prefer not to wait on me. At any rate, the same band that played at our Winter Ball will playing. It's pretty well garunteed to be a great party. I'll have flyers at tomorrows lesson and will add details as they become available.
