So here is your Ballroom Dance Halloween Outing reminder email. Huzzah?

Friday, Oct 29th, Harpe's Dance Studio of Oklahoma City is hosting a free all-style-music dance. It begins at 7:30pm with free food and drinks and a costume contest. Harpe's is located at 420 N. Rockwell off of I-40/US 270 in OKC. Their website with further information, directions, and even a spiffy map is http://www.harpesdance.com/ . We will be meeting at 6:15pm by the Jukebox in the Union food court on Friday to carpool.

Saturday, Oct 30th, the Oklahoma City Swing Club (also of Oklahoma City) will be hosting a Halloween dance with mostly swing and foxtrot music. Dancing lasts from 8-11pm. The cover charge is historically under ten dollars and one woman I spoke to at the club quoted $8 for this event. Their studio is located at 4361 NW 50th St, Suite 400 in OKC. This is on the same block as a (elementary, I think) school. Their website is http://www.okcswingdanceclub.com/ with links to maps at the bottom. We will be meeting at 6:45pm by the Jukebox in the Union food court on Saturday to carpool.

If you are coming to either of these events and can drive, please email me back stating how many people you can carry and which events and any special conditions (no pets, arriving late, home by 11 etc.). This is just so I can be sure we're good to go before hand instead of the night of (I don't have a car).

Also, if you are intrested in going to Mango's for Salsa dancing this Thursday, contact Louise, [log in to unmask] for carpooling information. Mango's is a 21 and over club/bar in OKC. They have some kind of cover (I think).
