It's time once again to talk about dancing. As is becoming customary in these notices, let me begin with an apology. We are back in the West Atrium of Sarkey's again this week. I tried to get some different locations, but it just didn't pan out. For any who don't know where this is, it's the large, red brick building on the northeast corner of campus. The west atrium is under the large skylight off of Jenkins street. If you make it anywhere onto the 1st or 2nd floors (both of which are below ground level, interestingly enough) you should be able to follow your ears to the music.

Begin: 6:30pm End: 8pm with intermediate and dancing continuing until 9pm
Location: Sarkey's Energy Center, West Atrium
Dances: Waltz, Salsa/Merrengue, Nightclub Two-Step
Cost: $15 for students, $20 for non for the entire session
Attire: Anything you're comfortable dancing in. Soft soled shoes help and flip-flops/backless shoes are generally dangerous.

Also this week is a Meet me at the Mammoth dance in the Sam Noble Museum. Music and dancing begins at 6:30 and typically lasts until 8:30. Good opportunity to come out and dance to pretty good music. You might even learn something; museums do that to you.

In other news, the Officer's Meetings have been moved to Thursday nights at 8pm in the Conoco student leadership wing. In light of the Mammoth Dance, I would ask the other officers to postpone until 8:30/as soon as we can carpool back from Sam Noble. If no one else wants to go dance, that's fine too.

Homecoming is this Saturday and we will be participating in the parade. Kickoff has been confirmed for noon, so the parade will commence at 9am. We will probably have to be lined up at 8am. If you are interested, please let me know by/at our Tuesday meeting. We will be dancing the entire route and take turns carrying the banner and stereo. Dress will be as formal as you can manage: I plan on a suit and tie, myself.

Halloween is in two weeks and we have our choice of locations. I will bring these up on Tuesday, so come to make your voice heard.

That's all for now, thanks and peace
Patrick
