Hey all you dancing lads and lassies.

Time is marching on and so does the dance. We took a poll last week and enough people claimed they'd be sticking around for the holiday week to warrant a Tuesday meeting. So look for us this week in the Union, as per usual.

Who: The Sooner Ballroom Dance Club and You!
What: Beginning Cha-Cha, Tango and Hustle, Intermediate and Advanced dance lessons
When: Beginning at 6:30pm and Intermediate at 8pm, Tuesday, November 21st
Where: Will Rogers Area, OU Student Union food court, 1st floor
Why: To HAVE FUN! (why else?)

We've got more advanced instruction on the way from John Swick. He's been covering some nifty steps for the Rumba and Waltz.

Brief directions to the Will Rogers area: From the main entrance on Asp, come through the doors, down the 5 steps, turn right and walk past the bookstoore and Wendy's, can't miss it. From the Parking Garage, talk the ground floor entrance or the elevator to the ground floor, go down the ramp and it's on your right. Can't miss it.

The floor here is partially carpet, so the normal shoe caveats apply. Sneakers and rubber soles are ill-advised as they give way too much traction. Pick something softer and smoother.

And the Big Dance is coming up next week. On Friday, December the 1st, join us in the Molly Shi Boren Ballroom at 7pm for the 4th annual Snow Ball. We're offering a free dance lesson in Ballroom Basics from 7-8pm and Dancing with Live music and complimentary refreshments from 8-11pm. If you're a member in good standing having paid your dues at least twice this semester you get a free ticket. Otherwise, tickets will be on sale the week before in our regular lesson and from 10am-2pm in the student union Tuesday through Friday.

So we don't have any open dancing this Friday due to the holiday and next week is the Ball. We are planning a get together for Dec 8th, which may or may not be returning to Sin City.

And thats all the news that is the news. Thanks for tuning in,
Patrick
