Bonjourno mi Danse Clubb Posse,

Tomorrow night is the last lesson of the semester for Swing, Fox-Trot and Rumba. At 6:30pm we will be back in the scholars room of the Union, that's on the 3rd floor between the ballroom and the parking lot on the very north end. It is carpeted so soft shoes or heavy socks are recommended.

That put aside, the next week, March 1st, we will remain in the Scholars room for the first lesson of Waltz, Salsa/Merrengue, and Nightclub Two-Step.

This Friday there is a Big Band playing at the Dance Makers studio in Oklahoma City. There will be a lesson at 7:30 with open dancing from 9-11pm. Space is usually very limited at this venue so make your reservations early by calling them at 722-5100. Tickets are $10 per person and a credit card may be required to make a reservation. For more information and directions, visit dancemakers.net

Next Saturday, March 5th, there is already a group of OU students (from the college of engineering, interestingly enough) planning to go Polka dancing at the Czech Hall in Yukon. I encourage everyone to try this at least once and there is no better time than when you already know a group of your peers (same age group, at least) will be in attendence. Details on carpooling and a restatement of directions will follow next week.

That's all and hope to see you soon!
Patrick
