Hello once again,

So it seems things are back to normal around here. More dancing opportunities than you could possibly make in a single weekend.

Like all good weekends, this one starts with Friday night. Our usual crew will be out in force at the Sarkeys East Atrium from 8-10pm. That's on the first floor, down the hall from the cafe area with all the tables. We have our full sweep of music available for any kind of dancing you so desire. There is no charge and everyone is welcome.

Friday, November 4th we are having the salsa band Sal Del Barrio play in the food court of the Union.  The event takes place at 9pm-11pm with Salsa Dance lessons from 8pm-9pm. I would love to see your organization come out and participate in a fun and exciting night of live music and dancing.  Thank you for making OU awesome and I hope to see you there!

And late Friday night, there is of course salsa dancing at Mango's in the city. Best salsa club around, from what i hear.

On saturday, the Latin Dancing and Cultural Club at Oklahoma State is hosting their Salsa Ball. There is a Salsa Lesson at 8pm and dancing to the live salsa stylings of world famous Havana NRG from 9pm - 2am. This is located in the OSU Ballroom, Student Union building, 2nd floor. Directions:
1. Take I-35 North
2. Take the exit #174 for highway OK-51 towards Stillwater (17 miles)
3. OK-51 becomes 6th Avenue
4. Turn left on S Hester St
5. Go past Traffic Light (at University Avenue) on Hester and SU is on your left 1 block away.

The dress for this event is advertised as formal, no jeans, no khakis, no tennis shoes.
Details can be found at http://www.osudance.org/ and over 300 people are expected to attend.

If you would like to carpool, meet at the Jukebox in the Union foodcourt at 7pm. We'll be leaving around 7:15. If you want to be sure to have a ride, email or call me. I imagine this event really will go until two and I plan to stay for it all.
