It's time once again to get ready to dance. This being week four, we are only two weeks away from our final session. Beginning on November 9th, we will be learning Tango, Cha-Cha and Hustle, because I know some of you are curious.

This week, we are back in the Scholars room. That's the third floor of the Student Union building on the north end between the Ballroom and Parking Garage. Wear soft soled shoes because it's carpeted. Also, flip-flops are more of a liability on carpet, so bring some socks to dance in if your only shoes are sandal like.

Thanks go to everyone who helped with Homecoming: Evan, Dominique, Johnathan, Megan, Ruthie, Erin, Horst, Andrew, Jenaya and Delanie. It was a marginal success, with the candy throwing being somewhat more popular (and more effective) than the dancing.

This weekend is Halloween. On Friday, the OKC Swing Club will be hosting the OKC Ballroom club for a Halloween Party. Dancing Begins at 7:30. On Saturday, also at the OKC Swing Club, is their own Halloween Party from 8-11pm. Also on Saturday, the Czech hall is hosting a Halloween party, beginning around 6, I believe. I will have more information tomorrow at the club meeting, so come and voice your opinion. No matter what happens, we will be carpooling to ONE of these events at least. Watch this channel for more information on when and where to meet. Oh, and if we do decide to go to the Czech hall, Tuesday's Intermediate lesson immediately following the beginners lesson will cover the polka basics.

So brush up your dance shoes and make sure that costume still fits.
