Okay gang, here is (are) the deal (deals) for dancing tonight.
We have 3 venues and one complication.
First up, we have a room reserved for our regular mini-lesson and dance in the Union. Standard details apply, free for everyone from 8-10pm come and dance as you are. Problem is, I'm trying to go to this next dance that was announced a while ago. So I'm asking for a volunteer who can set up and tear down our Friday event. Please let me know if you can manage a stereo and cd's for a couple of days. Email me or call 812.391.3225 for details.

Enjoy the funky Route 66-themed venue, jam with the Zuits' awesome swing, Latin and jazz, shoot some pool, and munch on snacks catered my the Blue Dome Diner. Cash bar available. Cost: $5, free for TU students, faculty and staff with ID (includes swing dance lesson at 8:00 pm.)
I would encourage everyone to make it out for this as you can. The TU Ballroom club is the most active and nearest University club and they're a great group of people. Plus, the Zoots simply rock.
If Tulsa is too far for your fare, you can check out ballroom dancing at International Dance Studio located at 3001 N.W. 73rd Street in Oklahoma City. The dance begins at 8 p.m. and has been extended to 10:30. There will be new music for the upstairs floor that includes rhythm dances. The downstairs floor will be for rhythm and swing.
Snacks and soft drinks will be available for your enjoyment. The cost is $4 per person. Remember to bring your leather-soled dance shoes.
I understand this joint was also rocking two weeks ago when several of our clubbers when up.
For next Friday, we Do Not have a room reserved. I know of a couple Halloween events being thrown, so if you know of any for next weekend (Friday the 20th or Saturday the 21st) forward the details to me. I think it would be cool if we could get a bunch of SBDC folks out to the same costume soiree.
