Happy November.
Here we are at our last meeting for our lovely Waltz, Salsa/Merrengue, Nightclub Two-Step session. This Tuesday, you can go vote and then come dance. We will be meeting at 6:30pm in the West Atrium of the Sarkey's Energy Center again. Anyone who can come early to help move tables and chairs and speed up the sign in process is much appreciated. If you need directions, please contact me.
The good news is, only 1 more time this semester will be meeting outside of the Scholars room. We have no room for the 30th of November, so if no one has a better location, I'll reserve the Atrium for that date soon.
Upcoming we have a social outing to the Czech Hall in OKC for some polka dancing. That will be on the 13th or 20th of november, depending on what everyone's schedule is looking like. We will be giving a free polka lesson following the lesson before that outing, so we've got you covered for learning how.
Also, in preparation for our Winter Ball, which will be held Thursday, December the 2nd, we will be having an open officers meeting on this Thursday, the 4th. If you have ideas and/or want to become involved in the planning proccess, feel free to attend. We will be asking for volunteers to help with assembling decorations in the near future, even be throwing some parties to get everyone together. We'll also have some smaller tasks that we may be able to delegate to anyone who's interested. The point is, this thing is rolling right around the corner and we need your help to stay on top of it and make it great.
That's it for now. In closing, I'd just like to say that if you can't find something to vote for (all politicians being evil as they are) find something to vote against.
