Wow,
So, last week was an incredible blast. Over 90 people in attendence, far and above our most successful turn out. I hope that means everyone had a record amount of fun as well!

But First!
Publicity Week is this week. Every student organization will be recruiting new members this week and ours is no exception. The information fair is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 am - 3 pm on the South Oval. We have set up and tear down covered; what we need are smiling people to come out and spread the word about ballroom. If you want to help out, feel free to drop by the booth and hang out at any time. Better still, if you can commit to specific hours, please email me with your projected times.

We now continue with our regularly scheduled ballrom invite.

This week we hope to keep the party rolling. We will again be in the rectangular combo room in the Union, same dance time, same dance channel.
Who: Sooner Ballroom Dance Club and You!
What: Foxtrot, Rumba, Swing lesson numero dos
When: Tuesday Sept. 6th 6:30 pm
Where: Regeants and Associates rooms, Student Union Building 3rd floor
Why: Meet new people, learn new things, have fun! Why else?

Our room is between the ballroom and the parking garage, on the third floor of the union. It is carpeted, so be cautious! Sneakers/tennis shoes can be hazordous to your ankles and knees. Wear soft soled shoes if you have them or dance in your socks or barefooted.

We do ask that, if this is your second time with us, that come prepared to pay for the session in full. That cost is $15 for students and $20 for non-students and covers the entire 5 week session. No where else can you learn three dances for so little. If it is your first time with us, we still extend our risk free, free trial. Dance your first night with no obligation and decide later if you want to pay.

That's all for this week. Keep on dancing!
Warm regards,
-Patrick Macklin
