Aloha,

I'd first like to greet all of our new members, the people who are recieving this email for the first time: Welcome, we look forward to dancing with you in January. Next, I'd like to thank everyone who attended the 2nd Annual Snow Ball on December the second. There were over 200 of you in attendence, making it our largest event ever. And third, a special thanks goes out to all of our returning members and everyone who volunteered to make the Ball possible.

Next semester is one month and three days away. Planning has already begun to make our next sessions even better and more enjoyable for you, our members. Our room schedule for spring is as follows:
January 25: TBA
Febuary 1: Scholars room
Febuary 8: TBA
Febuary 15: TBA
Febuary 22: Scholars
March 1: Scholars
March 8: Scholars
March 15: Spring break - no meeting
March 22: TBA
March 29: Scholars
April 5: Associates
April 12: Associates
April 19: Scholars
April 26: Scholars
May 3: Scholars
All meetings are on Tuesday evening with beginner lessons from 6:30 to 8 and intermediate from 8 to 9. The Scholars and Associates rooms are both on the 3rd floor of the Union. The TBA locations are likely to be the East Atrium of the Sarkeys Energy Center. Feel free to email me if you know of any location that would work; close to campus, smooth floor, and reasonably priced are the top considerations. We will be having a flyer hanging party during the first week back, hopefully during the normal meeting time on Tuesday the 18th, the first day of class. Watch for an update email on that front sometime in the January 'teens.

New and improved club shirts will be on sale at our first meeting. They are pretty cool and will likely sell out very quickly, at which time we will order a bunch more. Just wanted to give the heads up as I know some of you have been waiting a long time for these.

Our 2nd annual Spring Ball, the Moonlit Masquerade, is planned for Wednesday, April 20th at 7pm. We have reserved additional space to make this ball even bigger than the last. We will be using the Balcony on the West end and the Governors, Reagents and Associates room. Hopefully, we will be able to provide seating AND dancing space for 300 people, an attendence mark I hope to reach.

In the mean time, good luck with any finals you may have.

Mele Kalikimaka,
Patrick Macklin
