Ballroom Dancers,

This form email is probably going to look very familiar by the end of the semester. The hardest part of my job is coming up with something interesting to say each week.

Who: The Sooner Ballroom Dance Club and You!
What: Beginning and Intermediate dance lessons.
When: Beginning at 6:30pm and Intermediate at 8pm, Tuesday, September 5th.
Where: Scholars Room, Oklahoma Student Union, 3rd floor between the ballroom and the parking garage.
Why: To HAVE FUN! (why else?)

The Scholars room is on the third floor of the Union, on the North end between the ballroom and the parking garage. It is  carpeted, so bring something to dance in besides sneakers or flipflops. Soft felt or leather soled shoes if you have em work great. Heavy socks stand in quite well. There are no requirements other than showing up and having fun.

We do ask that you pay your dues if you're enjoying dancing. (If you aren't enjoying dancing, you should probably stop coming so that we'll stop nagging you with 'did you pay your dues yet?' But that's not a problem at all because everyone enjoys dancing.) Dues for five weeks are $15 for students, $20 for non. So if you have paid dues or pay them tomorrow, the next time you have to pay is on October 3rd.

Friday nights are the big fun, tho. Starting at 8pm, in the Heritage room of the Union, we'll be teaching and dancing until we collapse or they kick us out. A mini-lesson will be taught over the basics of something so none will be left out. We'll have open stereo, so bring your favorite tunes to dance to.
