Hi again everybody.

There was some confusion that I caused on the dance event this friday. Here's a repaste of all the information, garaunteed to be correct.

WHO: All y'all!
WHAT: $5 cover charge dance, FREE merengue mini-lesson (taught by Henry or someone Henry-esque)
Beverage purchasable at the bar by of-age persons.
WHERE: Kongo's Club 1051 12th Ave NE Norman, OK 73071 (405) 579-5664
That's at the corner of 12th and Robinson on the north east side of town.
WHEN: This coming Friday (Feb 24th)
       Mini-lesson 7:00pm, dancing until 9:00pm
The club will remain open to anyone who has paid the cover for the rest of the night.
WHY: To have fun!
HOW: Just show up .... (with $5)

So to reiterate, the dance this friday is at Kongo's, not in Sarkey's. There is a $5 cover and persons under 21 should be able to enter but not drink.

That is all. Sorry again,
Patrick

Subject: Another dance lesson? Can you believe it?

Shocking I know. Well, not really. I suppose you get one every week...

The drill is beginner lessons in Foxtrot, Swing and Rumba tomorrow night at 6:30. At 8pm we have an intermediate lesson with Candi Boone. At 9pm we have open dancing lasting just as long as we like. The pertinent scoop before your head droops:

Who: Sooner Ballroom Dance Club and You!
What: 5th and final Lesson of Foxtrot, Swing and Rumba
When: Tuesday Feb 21st 6:30 pm
Where: OU Student Union, Regeants and Associates Rooms, 3rd floor
Why: Meet new people, learn new things, and have fun. Why else?

The last details for those of you who may not know: The rooms for this week are on the 3rd floor of the Union building, on the North end between the Parking Garage and the Ballroom. We're just across the hall from where we were the first week. It is carpeted, so soft soled shoes or heavy socks are highly recommended. Really, any kind of shoe without heavy tread or sticky soles will work.

So tell all your friends how much fun you had because next week we'll be beginning a new session on the basics of Waltz, Salsa/Merengue and Nightclub Two-Step.

This Friday, we will be moving our mini-lesson with dance afterwards to Kongo's Club at 7pm. This is to spread ballroom dance through the community and give you a taste of what social dancing in a real studio environment is like. The format will remain the same and it will be even more fun! Can you believe it?

WHO: All y'all!
WHAT: FREE dance, FREE merengue mini-lesson (taught by Henry or someone Henry-esque)
WHERE: Sarkeys Energy Center (tall red brick tower, Boyd & Jenkins),
in the basement, in the Atrium behind the elevators
WHEN: This coming Friday (Feb 24th)
       Mini-lesson 7:00pm, dancing until 9:00pm
The club will remain open to anyone who has paid the cover for the rest of the night.
WHY: To have fun!
HOW: Just show up ....

Once again, Thursday, April 13th is the date for the Spring Ball, our 3rd Annual Moonlit Masquerade. Plan on a beginning at 7pm in the Ballroom of the Union. More (much more) on this to be coming out in the future.

That's all for now. Thanks again to everyone for coming out and supporting us, it wouldn't be so fun without YOU.
