So, hmm, it's Tuesday already. Where does the time go?

Tonight is Lesson 2 of Waltz, Salsa/Merrengue and Nightclub Two-Step. We are once again in the Scholars room, Union 3rd floor. Beginner Lessons last from 6:30-8pm. Intermediate will commence shortly thereafter, probably with some work or Waltz, Samba or Swing (I'd tell you for certain, but I'd be lying). At any rate, it's not too late to hop on the bus for this session. My teaching last week was pretty limited and I'm certain the inestimatible Henry Neeman will do an excellent recap.

Next week is Spring Break (finally) and there will be no lesson on the 15th. The week after, we return to the Sarkey's Energy Center. Details will follow towards the end of break, so no worries.

There are a few things going down this weekend. First up, there is a Salsa Dance Party with live music (I'm told) on Friday at Mango's in Bricktown, OKC from 9-pm to close (sometime the next day). I'm not particularly up on the details for Mango's, as it's a 21 and over bar type establishment and I'm as yet still a young one. Anyone interested in carpooling, I can mediate and send out an email later in the week.

Saturday of break, the 12th, the Tulsa University Ballroom Dance Club is hosting a dance of some sorts. Anyone planning to be in Tulsa that evening or otherwise interested can contact Horst Severini <[log in to unmask]>, our faculty advisor, for details. Apparently, collaboration between our two clubs was quite fanciful at one point and plans are in the works for bigger and better events.

Regardless, Stay in touch and keep dancing,
-Patrick
