It's reached that time of the year where all I can think about is traveling home and sleep. Tonight, we have our last dance lesson together for this semester. At 6:30pm in the Scholars Room of the Union, we will bring the year to a close with the fourth and final Tango, Cha-Cha, and Hustle lesson. Wear comfortable, soft-soled shoes.

I would like to extend thanks to everyone who came out this year. We've held up some pretty impressive attendence rates throughout our meetings this semester. Also, we blew the doors off of all expectations for our semi-annual ball. Last year was our first time doing it and we had 120 people attend in the winter and near 150 for the spring. This year, we sold over 250 tickets. A huge thank you goes out to everyone who helped set up and tear down for this event, as well as the few of you who worked selling tickets in the Union. Plans are already underway to expand the event for next years ball.

We have a four week break this year with classes resuming on a Tuesday. We will not be holding lessons that day (which is the day after Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the 18th) but will instead wait a week and begin on the 25th with Swing, Fox-Trot, and Rumba. Hopefully, we will have hired a professional instructor for Intermediate lessons and can start in right away with fancy steps for the Tango, Cha-Cha and Hustle.

At any rate, you have all been very good to us, the club, this year. We couldn't do it all without you.
