Hi everyone,

Sorry for the delay in sending this email. I'm just not having a lucky month. As the title sasy, tonight will be the first lesson in our 5 week session of Waltz, Salsa/Merengue, and Nightclub TwoStep. The cost is $15 for OU students and $20 for non-students, which covers all five weeks. Here's the sweet and low of the deal:

WHO: The Sooner Ballroom Dance Club and YOU!
WHAT: Kick of a new session: Lesson one in Waltz, Salsa/Mernegue and Nightclub TwoStep
WHEN: TONIGHT, Tuesday February 28th at 6:30pm
WHERE: The Scholars room, OU Student Union Building 3rd floor
WHY: To have fun! And maybe even learn something

Seriously though, it is a lot of fun. The scholars room is on the 3rd floor, north end, between the ballroom and the parking garage. The union building is the big clock tower building on Asp Ave. The room is carpeted, wear smooth soled shoes or heavy socks. Please come prepared to pay your dues if you are a returning member. If you are coming for the first time, feel free to try the frist lesson for free and pay later (only if you enjoyed it [but who doesn't?]).

Intermediate instruction will follow the beginners lesson at 8pm and open dancing will continue at 9pm.

We'll be back in Sarkey's (big red brick building on corner of boyd and jenkins) this week for another mini-lesson and social dance. The fun starts at 8pm and lasts till 10. We'll be in the east atrium (1st floor, which is below street level, down the hall from the bedrock cafe and tables and chairs).

Mark you calendars for April 13th. We'll be hosting the 3rd annual Moonlit Masquerade in the Union Ballroom starting at 7pm. There will be a free lesson, live music at 8pm lasting until 11 and complimentary refreshments. All members of the club (paid for two session this semester) will recieve a free ticket. Please reply if you are interested in volunteering.
